Class Duration: 1 hour per day
(Optional: stay an additional hour for self-practice in the workshop)

Location : Nayabasti, Boudha and Ramhiti, Boudha (Just a 10-15-minute walk from the Boudhanath Stupa!)
What to Bring: Sketchbook and basic stationery
Materials Provided: Canvas, colors, brushes, and all necessary painting supplies
Course fee
Price per hour: NPR 3000-5000 (final price depends on the subject- landscape, mandala, or deities)
Extra Fees: use of 24K gold in your painting is available for an additional fee to be determined based on the thangka subject and the real-time price of the gold)
Course Outline:
- Introduction to Thangka painting and traditional techniques
- Thangka subject: Traditional Landscapes, Deities ( e.g. Buddha), or mandala( e.g. Lotus Mandala)
- Guided self-practice to develop patterns and refine skills
- Completion of your own hand-painted Thangka artwork to take home
